Groups are capped at 10 people.

It is not necessary to have any prior experience with yoga. The group will include a gentle trauma-informed practice that offers modifications for all bodies.
-
Trauma-informed yoga provides a space for you to safely reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and cultivate a sense of empowerment. We create a predictable environment, avoid potentially triggering poses, focus on embodiment, rather than alignment, and offer choices and permission to take what you need.
-
Trauma-informed yoga engages the ventral vagal branch of the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce physical symptoms of stress, improve emotional regulation, and increase your capacity for staying present through challenging experiences. You will practice new ways of relating to your body, which can slowly broaden your window of tolerance, strengthen your ability to self-regulate, and build new neural pathways that support access to new ways of being.

This is your space, you decide how you want to use it. You may show up one day with a lot you’d like to share, other days, you may feel more introspective and prefer to just listen. If you don’t want to share, you don’t have to! We are happy to share your presence either way.
